Hello strings class students. I am very happy that we got to start working on songs this week. I am having trouble with the newest song we are trying to play. I keep on playing the wrong string and touching the A string with the skin on my finger skin. I brought my book home but I left my violin at school. :( It is ironic because I left my book at school over march break and brought my violin home. I think it is very hard to just hold it by my shoulder and cheek. I am always finding myself supporting the violin with my left hand. Until next time. Goodbye.

Introductiontostrings

I am looking forward to learning to be able to play another instrument. I am anxious about the final evaluation because I am not very good at it yet and I can not hit the right strings all of the time and also it seems that even though I have the sponge it still digs into my collar bone. I plan to commit to taking the violin home twice a week and also on weekends to practice my skills. I hope to learn the song "Comatose" by Skillet because it has a cool violin part. I am very excited to take this course. I would also like to play the cello because it looks really fun to play.
